Hickinbotham | Adelaide, South Australia
Hickinbotham is South Australia’s largest residential building and land development business, with more than 70 years of family ownership. We are looking for a capable and customer-focused Land Sales Coordinator to support our land sales releases and help deliver a positive experience for purchasers.
Reporting to the Land Development Manager, you will be a key link between the Land team, sales consultants, clients and the people involved in progressing contracts to settlement. You will keep sales information accurate, coordinate the details behind each release and make sure enquiries and outstanding matters are followed through.
What you will do
Coordinate land sales releases
- Assist with planning and administering land sales releases, including release dates, lot availability, pricing, plans and sales documentation.
- Make sure internal and external sales consultants have accurate, current information for upcoming and active releases.
- Monitor reservations, sales activity and release progress, and maintain sales registers and schedules.
- Identify issues that could affect a release, contract or settlement and escalate them early.
Support sales consultants and purchasers
- Be a responsive point of contact for sales consultants seeking information about lots, pricing, releases and sales processes.
- Help coordinate lot enquiries, reservations and the information needed to prepare contracts.
- Respond to prospective purchasers and clients with explicit, accurate and professional information.
- Follow up outstanding enquiries, work with the relevant teams to resolve issues and escalate sensitive or complex matters when needed.
Manage sales and contract administration
- Coordinate the preparation, issue and tracking of land sale contracts in line with company procedures.
- Liaise with sales consultants,
conveyancers, solicitors and internal teams to keep contracts moving.
- Track signed contracts, outstanding documents, deposits, variations and other key milestones.
- Check sales and purchaser records for missing or inconsistent information and coordinate corrections.
- Support the progression of contracts through to settlement.
Keep information reliable and improve how we work
- Maintain accurate sales records, databases and correspondence.
- Prepare reports on releases, sales activity and contract status.
- Help the team see what needs attention, where work is held up and what action is required.
- Look for practical ways to improve communication, administration and the customer experience.
What you will bring
Experience in land sales or property is welcome, but it is not essential. You may come from sales support, administration, customer service or another role where you have coordinated detailed work and helped people get answers. What matters most is that you bring:
- Strong attention to detail and confidence managing records and changing information.
- Excellent organisation and the ability to manage several priorities at once.
- Clear communication and a professional, responsive approach to customer service.
- The ability to build productive relationships with clients, colleagues and external contacts.
- A willingness to learn the land sales process, take ownership and follow matters through to completion.
At Hickinbotham, we value A Players who care about the quality of their work, support the people around them and look for better ways to get things done. Our Lean culture encourages us to identify problems early, fix them at the source and continually improve the experience for our customers and teams.
If you enjoy supporting a busy land development operation while giving customers a positive experience, we would love to hear from you.
