Kitchen Hand — Social Dining

Behind every smooth service is someone keeping the engine room running — and that's exactly what this role is about. It's not glamorous, but it's essential, and the right person takes real pride in doing it well.

About the role

You'll be the backbone of our kitchen's daily operation, supporting our chefs and keeping everything clean, organised and running to standard. Your responsibilities will include:

- Dishwashing and general kitchen cleaning throughout service
- Assisting with basic food preparation as directed by the kitchen team
- Receiving, checking and correctly storing deliveries
- Maintaining cleanliness of coolrooms, storage areas and workstations to food safety standards
- Managing rubbish and recycling, and keeping the kitchen presentable at all times
- Supporting the team during busy service periods

What we're looking for

- Someone reliable, who shows up and gets the job done without needing to be chased




- The ability to stay calm and efficient when things get busy
- A sharp eye for detail, especially around cleanliness and food safety
- A genuine team player who's happy to pitch in wherever needed
- Flexibility to work across our trading days
- A current Food Handling certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
- No kitchen experience necessary — we'll teach you the ropes
