R & R is seeking a talented Solicitor to join our legal team in Newcastle, NSW. This is a full-time position that offers an excellent prospect to develop your legal career within a dynamic and growing law firm. As a Solicitor, you will provide comprehensive legal services across a broad range of practice areas, working closely with colleagues and clients to deliver high-quality advice and representation.

Key responsibilities

- Provide legal advice and services to clients across multiple practice areas, including commercial law, property law, litigation, and general matters
n
- Draft, review and negotiate legal documents and commercial agreements on behalf of clients
n
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support case preparation and client advice
n
- Manage client relationships professionally and maintain clear communication throughout legal matters
n
- Prepare legal correspondence, pleadings, and other court documents as required
n
- Attend meetings and negotiations with clients, opposing parties and other stakeholders
n
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of legal resources and templates
n
- Support compliance with legislative requirements and professional obligations
n
- Assist with business development and client relationship management activities
n

What we're looking for

n

n
- Admission to practice as a Solicitor in New South Wales or eligibility to apply for admission
n
- Between 2-5 years of post-admission experience in a law firm environment
n
- Strong knowledge of general legal practice areas, with the ability to work across multiple disciplines
n
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to provide clear, pragmatic legal advice
n
- Proficiency in legal research, case management and document drafting
n




- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines
n
- Professional with the ability to build and maintain positive client relationships
n
- Attention to detail and a commitment to providing high-quality legal work
n
- Experience with legal practice management systems and Microsoft Office applications
n
- A collaborative approach to working within a team environment
n
- Preferred: experience in commercial contracting, conveyancing, property law or litigation matters
