An exciting opportunity has arisen for a number of cleaners who are interested in working at Australia Zoo! We are currently looking for Zoo Cleaners, Office Cleaners, Housekeepers and Food and Beverage Cleaners!

Duties include -

n

n
- Cleaning & maintaining all public areas.
n
- General cleaning of offices.
n
- General cleaning of hospitality outlets.
n
- General cleaning of cabins and accommodation.
n




- Rubbish disposal and litter removal on surrounding zoo property including: pathways, access areas, service roads and main buildings throughout zoo.
n
- Use of cleaning and maintenance equipment (Vacuum, Blower, Sweeper, Mop, Duster, Gurney, Buggy etc)
n
- Maintain excellent communication and guest relations.
n
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
n
- Ability to stand and exert well-paced mobility for the duration of a scheduled shift.
n
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
n
- Ability to wear a 15kg blower on back for approx. 2 hours per day.
n
- Ability to work in outdoor climates for extended periods of time. (Including high temperatures and rain)
n
- Experience in a similar environment preferred but not essential.
n
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
n
- Strong availability including weekends, public holidays and school holidays.
n
- Own transportation, as public transportation is not reliable in this area.
n
- Proof of Hepatitis Vaccinations. (unless otherwise exempt)
