Cohort is part of a growing 30+ venue network. We are looking fora switched-on hospo superstar to run our busy Bondi Junction flagship store.

A hands-on role, leading from the front, you will drive sales through excellent customer servicewhilst using your experience & initiative to manage costs.

n

You will work alongside the owners and group ops team to deliver the best product and experience to our customers.

n

Key responsibilities

n

n
- Leading, motivating and developing the cafe team
n
- Managing daily operations and service flow
n
- Rostering and labour management
n
- Stock control, ordering and waste management
n
- Monitoring sales, labour and COGS targets
n
- Recruitment, training and performance management
n
- Maintaining presentation, cleanliness and operational standards
n




- Working closely with the barista team to ensure coffee quality and consistency
n
- Building relationships with our regular customers and the local Bondi Junction community
n

n

About you

n

n
- Minimum 3 years experience leading a team in a cafe, hospitality or similar management role
n
- Proven experience managing a busy, high volume venue
n
- Strong leadership and communication skills
n
- Good understanding of rostering labour and cost control
n
- Coffee knowledge and an understanding of specialty coffee
n
- A hands on approach and willingness to lead from the floor
n
- Strong organisational and problem solving skills
n
- A genuine passion for hospitality, people and customers experience
n
