About the Role:

n

Provide person-centred Speech Pathology services that empower people with disability to improve communication, independence, participation and quality of life, based in Edwardstown.

n

You will:

n

n
- Conduct speech and language assessments and deliver evidence-based interventions tailored to individual needs and goals.
n
- Develop and implement person-centred therapy plans that promote independence, participation, inclusion and quality of life.
n
- Provide practical strategies, education, coaching and capacity-building support to individuals, families, carers and support teams.
n
- Recommend and support the implementation of appropriate interventions based on assessed needs and funding requirements. [
n
- Prepare high-quality assessments, progress notes, therapy plans, reports and funding documentation, including NDIA reports where required.
n
- Collaborate with families, carers, health professionals and other stakeholders to coordinate supports and achieve meaningful outcomes.
n
- Contribute to multidisciplinary meetings, supervision, professional development and continuous improvement activities.
n
- Apply contemporary, evidence-informed Speech Pathology practice while maintaining professional, ethical and regulatory standards.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

n

n
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
n
- SA Working with Children Check
n
- A current Driver's License
n
- Willing to obtain a Psychological Assessment if required
n
- Tertiary qualifications that meet NDIS Requirements for a Speech Pathologist (Bachelor or Masters qualification in Speech Pathology)
n
- Current registration as a Speech Pathologist Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) (desirable)
