Wynnum Golf Club is a friendly, community-focused venue in the heart of Brisbane's Bayside. Our facilities include a popular Bistro, Bar and Function Centre, catering for casual dining, weddings, celebrations and corporate golf events.

We're looking for a reliable Casual Chef or Cook to join our small, supportive kitchen team.

This is a hands‐on role suited to someone who can work confidently during busy services and takes pride in preparing consistently high‐quality food.

About the Role

n

You'll work across bistro service, functions and events, assisting the kitchen team with food preparation, service and general kitchen operations.

n

Applicants must be available to work weekends and some evening shifts.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

- Prepare and present meals consistently and efficiently
n
- Work across bistro, function and event services
n
- Assist with food preparation, stock rotation and kitchen organisation
n
- Maintain high food safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards
n




- Work calmly and effectively during busy service periods
n
- Contribute to a qualified and positive kitchen environment
n

n

What We're Looking For

n

n
- Experience working as a Chef, Cook, Chef de Partie or in a similar role
n
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery preferred
n
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
n
- A reliable, practical and organised approach
n
- Ability to work confidently during busy services
n
- Availability on weekends and for some evening shifts is essential
n
