Job Description

CIVIL EXCAVATOR OPERATORS - IMMEDIATE START

n

Operating excavators for trenching, bulk earthworks, drainage, service installation, grading, and material handling

n

Excavating around existing services and working to project specifications and set-out information

n

Loading trucks and moving materials efficiently across site

n

Assisting with installation of underground infrastructure including drainage, water, and sewer networks

n

Working closely with supervisors and ground crews to achieve daily production targets

n

Conducting daily pre-start inspections and reporting any maintenance requirements

n

Cleaning, lubricating, and carrying out basic preventative maintenance on equipment

n

Working to construction programs and project schedules

n

Applying all Work Health and Safety (WHS) requirements on site

n

Completing daily paperwork including pre-starts, dockets, and operational records
