PFM Logistics is a national leader in sensitive freight and logistics, specialising in the delivery and installation of high-value equipment including medical devices, ATMs, refrigeration and print equipment.

Due to continued growth and increased demand, we are seeking professional Owner Drivers / Owner Operators that have 10 to 12 pallet Pantech with Tailgate Trucks only, to partner with us in Edmonton, Cairns Qld.

n

About the Opportunity

n

This is not standard "pick-up and drop-off" work. We are a white glove service. Our teams deliver, install, and handle sensitive freight requiring care, professionalism and attention to detail.

What We're Looking For

n

n
- MR/HR truck (pantech with tailgate)
n
- Modern, well-maintained Fleet
n
- Minimum 5 years driving experience
n
- Experience in sensitive freight (highly regarded)
n
- Strong customer service and communication skills
n
- Ability to complete paperwork and use PDA systems
n
- Professional presentation and attitude
n
- Clean driving history (driver printout required)
n
- Ability to work safely and take ownership of freight and client interactions

- ABN and relevant insurances (or willingness to obtain)
n

Important

n

Must hold valid licence and operate compliant vehicle

n

Must be willing to follow PFM safety and the following compliance standards:

n

n
- Speed limiters fitted in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specifications and compliant with applicable Australian Design Rules (ADR)
n
- Sufficient rear and side lighting fitted to all vehicle bodies and/or trailers to ensure safe operation and visibility
n
- Adequate in-cabin lighting to enable secure operation and completion of required tasks
n
- Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) fitted to all newly purchased fleet vehicles
n
- Headrests fitted to all seating positions
n
- Door and/or handbrake alarm or alert system installed and operational
n
- Aqua Scales (for vehicles = to or above 12 pallets) fitted and maintained in working order
n
- Vehicles must meet a minimum Euro 5 emissions standard (or higher where applicable)
