Mesh & Bar is an innovative & independent manufacturer of reinforcing steel and mesh products. Since being established in 1998, we have enjoyed significant growth throughout eastern Australia. The Queensland arm of our business proudly manufactures and distributes to the construction industry from our facilities located at Redbank, Caloundra and our new state-of-the-art facility at Brendale.

About the role

n

Due to increasing growth, we have a permanent opportunity for a full-time steel reinforcing scheduler based at our new state of the art facility at Brendale.

n

Day to Day

n

Reading and interpreting structural, architectural and civil drawings for reinforcing steel

n

Scheduling of reinforcing steel into our internal system to allow our manufacturing team to produce this material accurately and efficiently

n

Liaising with all stake holders; including external customers and internal production, planning and sales teams about delivery requirements and expectations

n





Efficient management of assigned projects

n

Forecasting and estimating future production and accessory requirements for assigned projects

n

Being present at site meetings as and when required

n

Helping to solve scheduling difficulties on site when appropriate

n

Liaise with external third-party suppliers when required

n

Qualifications & Experience

n

Demonstrated experience as a Reinforcing Scheduler

n

Strong communication skills to work with a diverse team and customer base

n

Excellent organization skills, accuracy and attention to detail

n

Ability to perform duties within specific time frames, plan ahead and meet deadlines

n

A team player outlook with the ability to work autonomously when required

n

Ability to resolve issues and avoid conflict

n

Proactive approach to customer requirements

n

Adaptive mindset to an ever-changing landscape

n
