An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Senior Engagement Advisor to support strategic stakeholder engagement across a major government department. This role will develop engagement strategies, provide expert advice and help strengthen stakeholder engagement capability across complex and high-profile programs.

n

The Role You will work across the Department to improve the consistency, quality and effectiveness of stakeholder engagement while building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

n

Key responsibilities include:

n

- Develop and implement stakeholder engagement strategies, frameworks, systems, tools and guidance.
n
- Provide expert engagement advice for complex and high-profile programs.
n
- Coordinate department-wide engagement initiatives to improve collaboration and consistency.
n
- Support engagement governance, reporting, performance measurement and risk management.
n
- Improve stakeholder relationship management systems and reporting approaches.
n
- Develop training, templates and resources to build engagement capability.
n
- Monitor and evaluate engagement activities and identify opportunities for improvement.
n
- Build productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including other government agencies.
n
- Provide strategic advice on sensitive and emerging stakeholder matters.

About You To be successful, you will have:

n

n
- Demonstrated experience developing and implementing stakeholder engagement and communications strategies.
n
- Strong stakeholder management, consultation and relationship-building experience.
n
- Experience providing strategic advice within complex or high-profile environments.
n
- Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Stakeholder Engagement or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
n
- A current NSW Driver Licence and willingness to travel as required.
n
- Strong judgement and discretion when managing complex or sensitive matters.
