About the Opportunity

n

We are seeking an experienced Psychologist to join our dedicated Assessment and Diagnostics Team.

n

This predominantly clinic-based role will focus on the administration,



interpretation and report of comprehensive psychological and developmental assessments for children and adolescents.

n

Working closely with our multidisciplinary diagnostic team, you will contribute to high-quality assessments for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Intellectual Disability (ID), cognitive functioning, learning disorders and other neurodevelopmental presentations.

n

You will be responsible for completing clinical interviews, psychometric testing, diagnostic formulation, feedback sessions and comprehensive diagnostic reports while collaborating with Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists and other clinicians.

n

Part-time and flexible arrangements are available for experienced clinicians seeking a specialist assessment-focused caseload.

Skills and Qualifications

n

AHPRA Registered Psychologist

n

Minimum 2 years experience conducting psychological assessments

n

Experience administering, scoring and interpreting psychological assessments

n

Strong understanding of autism, ADHD, intellectual disability and developmental delays

n

Experience conducting comprehensive diagnostic assessments and supporting families with evidence based recommendations from assessment findings

n

Experience in cognitive assessments with children (WPPSI/WISC)

n

Experience conducting functional assessments (including Vineland)

n

Strong report writing and diagnostic formulation skills

n

Experience providing feedback sessions to families and clients

n

NDIS Worker Screening Check

n

Police Check

n

ADOS and MIGDAS certified

n

Experience conducting multidisciplinary diagnostic assessments

n

Experience working under CNDC Medicare assessment referrals

n
