Pro Motorcycles is seeking a qualified and experienced Motorcycle Mechanic to join our professional dealership in Moorooka, Queensland.

n

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity for a skilled mechanic with robust diagnostic, servicing and repair experience across a range of motorcycle brands. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, testing, repairing and diagnosing motorcycles and related mechanical components in line with manufacturer specifications and workplace safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

n

The successful candidate will be required to:

n

Detect and diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in motorcycles, engines and related components.

n

Dismantle, inspect, repair and reassemble engines, transmissions, steering mechanisms, braking systems, suspension and other mechanical parts.

n

Repair and replace worn or defective parts using service manuals and manufacturer specifications.

n

Perform scheduled maintenance services, including oil changes, lubrication, tune-ups and general servicing.

n

Test and adjust mechanical parts after repairs to ensure proper performance.

n





Use diagnostic tools and computer-based systems to identify and resolve faults.

n

Inspect motorcycles and provide details of required repairs or maintenance work.

n

Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high professional standard.

n

Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used and repairs completed.

n

Assist with breakdowns or urgent repair work when required.

Required Skills and Experience

n

To be considered for this role, applicants should have:

n

A relevant trade qualification in Motorcycle Mechanical Technology, or equivalent.

n

At least two years of relevant experience.

n

Proven experience maintaining, testing and repairing motorcycles.

n

Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.

n

Experience working with mechanical, electrical, braking, suspension and engine systems.

n

Ability to read and follow technical manuals and manufacturer repair procedures.

n

A high level of attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

n

Strong workplace safety awareness.

n

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

n

Salary between $70,000 and $80,000 per year, depending on experience.

n
