Our State Government client has created a new AO5 Finance Business Partner position within an established and experienced finance team.

Working alongside other Finance Business Partners, you'll partner with stakeholders across the organisation to provide analysis, insights and practical financial advice.

Key Contributions

- Analyse financial performance and identify key trends and cost drivers
n
- Support budgeting, forecasting and revenue analysis
n
- Partner with business leaders to provide financial advice and insights
n
- Prepare management reporting and ad hoc analysis
n
- Support month-end processes and reconciliations
n
- Work with large, complex data sets & interrogate information in detail
n
- Contribute to improvements in financial reporting and processes
n

To be successful, you will have

- Solid budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis experience
n
- Confidence working with large and complex data sets
n
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
n
- A collaborative, team-focused approach
n
- Advanced Excel skills (essential)
n
- TechnologyOne experience (essential)
n
- Revenue experience (essential)
n
- CA/CPA or relevant Accounting/Commerce qualification (highly desirable)
n
