- Prepare, cook, and present menu items to a high standard.

- Manage and maintain your assigned kitchen section.

- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with recipes, specifications, and presentation standards.

- Assist with menu development and seasonal specials.
n
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and stock control.
n
- Minimise food wastage and maintain portion control.
n
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety requirements.
n
- Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient work environment.
n
- Assist with training and mentoring junior kitchen staff.
n
- Work effectively as part of a team during busy service periods.

About You
n
n
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or experienced Commis Chef ready to take the next step.
n
- Relevant commercial cookery qualifications (Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent preferred).
n
- Solid knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
n
- Understanding of food safety principles.
n
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
n
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
n
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
n
- Availability to work a rotating roster including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
