About the Role

Our government client is seeking an experienced and motivated Supervisor to lead the delivery of construction, maintenance and upgrade projects across the region. This is an excellent prospect for a hands-on leader with strong project management, stakeholder engagement and supervisory experience within the building and construction industry. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating resources, supervising staff and subcontractors, managing project performance, and ensuring the successful delivery of works that meet quality, safety, budget and timeframe requirements.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Lead and supervise office staff, field staff and subcontractors to deliver construction, maintenance and upgrade projects.
n
- Manage project resources, including plant, equipment, depots and fleet vehicles.
n
- Monitor project progress, expenditure, quality and performance using effective work order management practices.
n
- Provide high-level supervisory services for construction, maintenance and upgrade activities.
n
- Administer and supervise construction and engineering contracts on major and complex projects.
n
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, industry standards and best practice.
n
- Build and maintain positive client relationships through effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
n
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements.
n




- Identify opportunities to grow business services and promote QBuild products and capabilities.
n
- Effectively manage employee performance, development and workplace conduct.
n

About You

n

- Proven supervisory experience within the construction, maintenance or building industry.
n
- Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management abilities.
n
- A commitment to workplace health and safety and positive team leadership.
n
- The ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering high-quality outcomes.
n

Mandatory Requirement

n

- Current Class C Driver Licence.
n

n

Highly Desirable

n

n
- Knowledge of the building industry and government works environment.
n
- Experience delivering construction, maintenance or infrastructure projects in a government or commercial setting.
n
