The Opportunity

Our client is a growing business with a complex, multi-entity finance function. This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified Accountant looking to take the next step in a energetic and broad Assistant Financial Accountant role across month-end, management reporting, compliance and process.
n
This role offers strong exposure to senior executives and non-finance teams, providing an excellent opportunity to develop your business partnering capabilities. This is a 12-month fixed-term maternity leave cover. We are very happy to wait for a 4 week notice period.

The Challenge
n
Reporting to the Financial Controller, some of your responsibilities will include:
n
n
- Assist with month-end accounting, journals, reconciliations and analysis
n
- Prepare monthly management and business unit reporting
n
- Assist with cash flow management and fund transfers
n
- Support statutory reporting, audit, tax compliance and BAS preparation
n
- Identify opportunities to improve finance processes and efficiencies
n
- Partner with stakeholders across the broader business
n

The Expertise
