About the Role

n

This is a hands-on Draftsperson position responsible for producing complete Lightning Protection System (LPS) designs and documentation for a variety of projects.

n

You will be responsible for reviewing project information, developing design solutions, preparing technical documentation and publishing completed design packages. Working closely with internal stakeholders and project documentation platforms, you will play an integral role in ensuring designs are accurate, compliant and delivered to the required standards.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

- Liaise with stakeholders to obtain project documentation and information required for design development.
n
- Organise drawings, models and supporting project information within established project structures.
n
- Review project documentation and identify relevant information to support design outcomes.
n




- Develop and maintain drawing environments, standards and layer structures.
n
- Assess building structures and establish suitable design solutions.
n
- Undertake risk assessments and contribute to development of appropriate protection systems.
n
- Prepare detailed design documentation and project design packages.
n
- Ensure all documentation is completed, published and distributed in the required formats.
n
- Adapt and update standard documentation, notes and design details where required.
n
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and workflow efficiencies.

Your Skills & Experience

n

Ideally, you will bring:

n

n
- Demonstrated Drafting experience utilising Autodesk AutoCAD.
n
- Experience working with construction, engineering or building-related drawings.
n
- Working knowledge of Autodesk Revit.
n
- Experience using Adobe Acrobat or similar document management software.
n
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate documentation.
n
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work autonomously.
n
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
n
- A positive, team-focused and reliable approach.
n
- Willingness to learn, develop new skills and embrace ongoing training opportunities.
n

Experience with AutoCAD customisation, 3D drafting, Autodesk Inventor, Navisworks or related software will be highly regarded but is not essential.
