Job Description

We require a Food Technologist (QA/QC) to join our team in our Sydney facility. We are an Australian owned leading food company supplying creative ingredients to the food industry.

Full time

Responsibilitieswill include:

n

- Interact with Production Department.
n
- Laboratory testing of raw materials and finished products.
n
- Verification of data, data entry and analysis.
n
- Adhere to ISO/HACCP guidelines.
n

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Assist in the development and testing of dry ingredient formulations (spice blends, premixes, powders, seasonings, etc.).
n
- Conduct basic laboratory analyses such as moisture, particle size, bulk density, and solubility tests
n
- Support quality control checks of raw materials and finished dry products
n
- Assist with pilot trials and scale-up activities
n
- Maintain accurate records of formulations, test results, and specifications
n
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and GMP requirements
n
- Support shelf-life and stability studies for dry ingredients
n
- Assist in investigating quality deviations and corrective actions
n




- Work closely with senior technologists, QA, and production teams
n
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards, regulations, and labeling requirements
n
- Monitor and improve manufacturing processes for efficiency and consistency
n
- Perform quality control testing on raw materials and finished products
n
- Collaborate with production, quality assurance, and marketing teams
n
- Document product specifications, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and test results
n
- Investigate and resolve product quality issues or customer complaints
n

Skills and Experience:

n

n
- Tertiary qualifications in Food Science or related.
n
- Experience in laboratoryskills and QC testing highly desirable.
n
- Ability to communicate effective.
n
- Own transport essential.
n
- Ability to work as part of a team.
n
