Our client is seeking a motivated Junior Reliability Engineer to join their manufacturing operation in Somersby. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career engineer looking to gain hands‐on experience in reliability, maintenance and manufacturing within a dynamic industrial workplace.

Working alongside experienced engineering and maintenance professionals, you'll develop practical skills while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and equipment reliability projects across a busy manufacturing site.

About the Role

n

Reporting to the Reliability team, your responsibilities will include:

n

- Supporting reliability and maintenance improvement initiatives
n
- Assisting with equipment performance and reliability investigations
n
- Collecting, analysing and interpreting maintenance and equipment data
n
- Supporting preventative and corrective maintenance activities
n
- Assisting with engineering and continuous improvement projects
n
- Maintaining engineering and maintenance documentation
n
- Supporting SAP and maintenance management systems
n
- Collaborating with Maintenance, Production and Engineering teams
n
- Providing general engineering support across the site
n

About You

n

To be successful, you will ideally have:

n

n
- Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or a related discipline, or currently nearing completion
n
- Previous engineering, manufacturing, maintenance or industrial experience, gained through employment, internships or placements
n
- A genuine interest in reliability, maintenance and manufacturing operations
n
- Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills
n
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
n
- A practical, hands‐on approach
n
- The ability to work effectively within a fast‐paced manufacturing environment
n

n

Experience with SAP or maintenance management systems will be highly regarded but is not essential.

n
