Camden Hire is looking for a skilled and experienced mechanicto join our team at our modern, clean, and well-organised workshop at Smeaton Grange facility maintaining and servicing our fleet of Elevated Working Platforms (EPW's), forklifts and lighting towers.

About the role

n

As a Camden Hire Mechanic, you'll be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and repairof a wide range of Scissor lifts, Boom lifts, forklifts and lighting towers. You'll ensure our fleet remains safe, reliable, and ready for hire, playing a key role in keeping our operations and customers moving.

You'll be joining a supportive and experienced team that values quality workmanship, efficiency, and safety.

Key responsibilities

n

n
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on EWP's, forklifts and other hire equipment
n
- Diagnose mechanical and electric faults and complete repairs efficiently and safely
n
- Carry out scheduled servicing and inspections
n
- Prepare equipment for hire
n
- Maintain workshop cleanliness and organisation
n
- Manage time effectively to meet operational priorities
n
- Ensure compliance with WHS and company safety procedures
n

What we're looking for

n

n
- We're looking for someone long-term who is reliable, practical and takes pride in their work.
n
- Relevant trade qualification (Light Vehicle, Heavy Vehicle, Plant Mechanic or Mobile Plant technology)
n
- Must have own hand/general tools for in the workshop (Camden Hire to supply diagnostic tools, Power tools, large tools etc)
n
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
n
- Positive attitude with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
n
- Working hours are negotiable and will be discussed during the interview process.
