Job Description

Ken Muston Automotive is a multi-franchise automotive dealership in the heart of the Goulburn Valley with over 45 years in the industry. We are seeking Automotive Technicians to join our state-of-the-art workshop.

Duties and responsibilities will include but not limited to:

n

Carry out repairs and maintenance as per the repair order and Dealership requirements.

n

Reports directly to the workshop foreman.

n

Plan each job for maximum efficiency and quote parts (where necessary) from Spare Parts immediately.

n

Maintain a sound knowledge of all Dealership products, processes and services.

n

Follow correct procedure for warranty repairs and ensure all warranty parts are tagged with the correct information and placed in warranty storage.

n

Correctly complete all works as per standard repair times.

n

Legibly complete all paperwork correctly, with correct clock times, details regarding all work and parts required.

n





Maintain a complete and up-to-date tool kit.

n

Perform other duties as requested by management.

n

Participate in franchise and in-house training as required.

n

Attend training and other trade courses to keep up-to-date with current product technical information.

n

The successful candidates will possess:

n

Sound mechanical aptitude with advanced problem-solving skills

n

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

n

A positive and mature attitude

n

Team orientated, able to undertake tasks and work unsupervised

n

Prestige brand experience would be an advantage however not essential.

n
