Job Description

Harry the hirer Productions is looking for a highly organised and proactive Touring & Logistics Coordinator to join our Melbourne team and help deliver major tours, events and live productions across Australia and internationally.

Working across our broader production business and HTH Touring — the touring arm of Harry the hirer Productions — you'll coordinate the logistics that keep crews, equipment and productions moving. From travel and accommodation to transport, freight, schedules, advancing and documentation, you'll make sure the detail is covered and the right information is in the right hands at the right time.

This is a hands-on coordination role for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, thinks ahead and stays calm when plans change.

Key Responsibilities

n

Coordinate domestic and international logistics for tours, events and live productions

n

Arrange crew flights, accommodation, ground transport and transfers

n

Coordinate transport, freight and equipment movements between warehouses, venues and tour stops

n

Prepare and maintain schedules, itineraries, contact lists and touring documentation

n

Liaise with Project Managers, Account Managers, warehouse and transport teams, venues, suppliers and service providers to confirm requirements and advance each show or event

n

Track and communicate changes to schedules, travel, transport and operational requirements

n

Troubleshoot last-minute logistical issues calmly and efficiently

n

Assist with purchase orders, invoices,



reconciliations, expense tracking and associated administration

n

Maintain accurate records and ensure key deadlines are met

About You

n

We're looking for someone who is:

Exceptionally organised with strong attention to detail

Proactive and comfortable thinking several steps ahead

n

Calm and solutions-focused under pressure

n

A confident communicator who works well with a wide range of people

n

Comfortable managing multiple priorities and tight deadlines

n

Able to work independently while remaining part of a broader production team

n

Confident using spreadsheets, calendars, booking systems and business software

n

Flexible when touring and event requirements occasionally fall outside standard working hours

n

Previous experience in touring, live entertainment, event production, technical production, transport or logistics would be highly regarded. Experience coordinating complex travel, freight, crew or event logistics would also be a strong advantage.
