A major Federal program is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Architect to design, implement, and evolve complex ICT network environments across on-premises and cloud platforms. The role: You'll play a key part in shaping the organisation's network and infrastructure capability. Your work will span design, assurance, documentation and stakeholder engagement across multiple systems and environments.

What you'll be doing

- Designing and building ICT network infrastructure aligned to whole-of-government security and policy requirements
n
- Facilitating workshops to capture business requirements and define improved network processes
n
- Leading continuous improvement activities to ensure capacity, availability and operational resilience
n
- Providing specialist technical advice to stakeholders and escalating complex issues where architectural input is required
n
- Managing competing priorities within a team of specialists
n
- Transferring knowledge to departmental staff and ensuring documentation meets recordkeeping standards
n
- Producing high quality architectural deliverables including:n n
- High-level designs and technical security documentation
n
- Detailed designs and as-built documentation
n
- SOPs, technical support artefacts and post incident inputs
n
- Security authorisation and assurance documentation
n
