Job Description

The primary focus is full-stack.Net/React development, system architecture, and API design, with frontend (React) capability mandatory. The role will initially lead delivery of API-first projects (internal and external) and progressively take ownership of broader platform architecture and technical standards.

The expectation is that this person writes production code daily, leads by example, and provides technical direction through execution and sprint delivery, engaging directly with the Product team.

Key Responsibilities

n

Core Development (Primary)

n

n
- Design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems, APIs, and services
n
- Lead development of RESTful and event-driven APIs (internal and external)
n
- Drive backend and frontend performance, reliability, and security
n
- Actively use AI development tools (e.g. Copilot, ChatGPT, code generation, test generation) to improve velocity and quality
n
- Provide technical input as required to other developers through:
n
- Code reviews
n
- Architecture and design guidance
n
- CI/CD
n
- Automated testing
n
- Identify technical risks early and address them pragmatically
n

n

Delivery & Ownership

n

n
- Own delivery of assigned projects end-to-end
n
- Work closely with product and business stakeholders to translate requirements into working software

- Investigate, diagnose,



and resolve complex system issues

- Ensure solutions are scalable, extensible, and supportable
n

Required Technical Skills (Non-Negotiable)

- Strong commercial experience with .NET (.NET Core / ASP.NET)
n
- Expert-level C#
n
- Highly experienced with React
n
- Solid understanding of object-oriented and domain-driven design
n
- Proven experience designing and building RESTful APIs
n
- Experience with scalable, multi-tenant systems
n
- Strong SQL skills (Postgres and/or SQL Server)
n
- Experience with cloud-hosted databases (e.g. AWS RDS)

- Solid working knowledge of React
n
- Comfortable contributing to frontend codebases

- Automated testing (unit, integration)

- Highly experienced with using AI tools to accelerate development

Experience & Profile

- 7+ years of commercial software development experience
n
- Proven senior-level contributor on production systems
n
- Comfortable in a small team where ownership is unavoidable

- Can "walk and chew gum": code, think, and lead simultaneously
