CNC - Broken Hill Hospital - Child and Adolescent Mental Health

Broken Hill Base Hospital & Health Services is seeking a Clinical Nurse Consultant Grade 1 (CNC1) to join its Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMHS) team in Broken Hill, NSW. This is a three-month contract role offering AUD86.57 to AUD90.33 per hour, starting as soon as possible. The successful candidate will bring specialist experience in CAMHS to a safeguarding-focused service, working with young people and their families in a regional healthcare setting.

Preferred Requirements

- Substantial experience working in Child and Adolescent Mental Health services
n
- Demonstrated expertise in safeguarding practice within CAMHS settings
n
- Strong clinical assessment and intervention skills with young people experiencing mental health difficulties
n
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies
n
- Sound knowledge of child protection frameworks and mandatory reporting obligations in NSW
n

Preferred Qualifications

n

n
- Registered Nurse qualification with current AHPRA registration
n
- Post-graduate qualification or specialist training in mental health nursing or child and adolescent mental health
n
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
