Property & Conveyancing Specialist
n An opportunity has arisen to join a highly regarded, values-led organisation with a significant and diverse property portfolio across the Hunter region.
n Working closely with senior leadership and key internal and external stakeholders, this role will provide specialist property expertise across a broad range of transactions, governance matters and land-related projects. It would suit an experienced conveyancer, property professional or property lawyer looking to move into a varied in-house environment where they can take ownership of matters from start to finish.

The Role

n

You will manage and advise on a diverse range of property matters including acquisitions, disposals, leases, licences, easements, covenants and subdivisions.
n You will undertake title and land ownership investigations, coordinate due diligence, review and negotiate property documentation and work closely with solicitors, government agencies, consultants and other stakeholders.
n The position will also contribute to property governance and compliance, helping ensure transactions and property decisions are appropriately documented, commercially considered and aligned with relevant regulatory requirements.

About You

n

You will ideally bring:

n

n
- Strong hands-on experience in conveyancing, property law or land administration
n




- Experience managing property transactions from end to end
n
- Knowledge of leases, licences, easements, acquisitions and disposals
n
- Experience undertaking title searches, due diligence and land ownership investigations
n
- Confidence reviewing and interpreting contracts and property documentation
n
- Strong research, investigative and problem-solving capability
n
- The ability to navigate complex ownership, governance and stakeholder environments
n
- Excellent communication skills and a practical, cooperative approach
n

Candidates may come from a law firm, conveyancing practice, government, property organisation or an in-house environment. Applications are welcomed from experienced property professionals as well as property lawyers seeking to transition into a broader in-house role.
