Service Leader – Prince of Peace Outside School Hours Care

At Prince of Peace OSHC, we provide high-quality before school, after school, pupil-free day and vacation care programs for children from Prep to Year 6. Our program offers a welcoming environment where children can play, explore, learn and thrive through engaging experiences designed to support their wellbeing and development.

The Opportunity

We're seeking a passionate and motivated Service Leader to lead our vibrant OSHC service. In this role, you'll inspire and support a dedicated team, create engaging programs that children love, and build strong relationships with families and the school community.

n

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on leader who is passionate about children's development, enjoys variety, and is committed to delivering a high-quality, sustainable service where children and educators can flourish.

What You'll Bring to the Role

n

n
- Lead the day-to-day operations of a busy, vibrant OSHC service with a solid operations-mindful approach
n
- Design and deliver fun, engaging, age-appropriate programs that spark curiosity and joy
n
- Actively engage with children indoors and outdoors—no standing on the sidelines here!
n
- Inspire, manage, mentor and support a team of dedicated OSHC Educators
n
- Apply a business-minded lens to service delivery, supporting sustainability, enrolments and resource management
n
- Ensure governance, compliance and quality standards are met with confidence
n
- Build warm, respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues
n
- Champion a safe, inclusive and welcoming environment where everyone belongs
n




- Complete administrative and documentation tasks with care and accuracy
n

What You'll Need to Succeed

n

n
- Diploma of School Aged Care or ACECQA-approved equivalent
n
- Proven leadership and people management experience in OSHC or early childhood settings
n
- Strong knowledge of NQS, EYLF and QKLG
n
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis qualifications
n
- Current Child Protection training and National Police Check
n
- Excellent communication and people skills
n
- A proactive mindset and passion for continuous improvement
n
- Champion child safety, continuous improvement, and educator wellbeing
n
- An appreciation of, and enthusiasm for, the Christian ethos of the Lutheran Church
