BP West Wyalong is a busy service station and convenience retail business serving local residents, travellers and commercial customers. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Retail Manager to oversee day-to-day retail operations and lead our customer service team.

Key responsibilities

Manage the daily operations of the service station and convenience store.
n
Supervise, train and roster retail staff.
n
Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to achieve business targets.
n
Manage stock control, inventory levels and supplier ordering.
n
Ensure compliance with company policies, workplace health and safety requirements and retail standards.
n
Handle customer enquiries and resolve customer service issues.
n
Monitor cash handling procedures, banking and point-of-sale operations.
n
Maintain merchandising standards and store presentation.
n
Prepare operational reports and assist with budgeting and cost control.
n
Recruit, train and develop team members to maintain high service standards.
n
About you
n
Relevant qualification in Business, Retail Management or related field, or equivalent industry experience.
n
At least 2 years of relevant experience as a Retail Manager.
n
Demonstrated experience managing staff and retail operations.
n
Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
n
Experience in inventory management and sales reporting.
n
Ability to work flexible schedule, including weekends and public holidays when required.
