The Opportunity

n

Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, you'll be responsible for planning and coordinating maintenance activities across a large fleet of heavy mining equipment, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and in line with operational requirements.

Your responsibilities will include:

n

- Planning and scheduling preventative and corrective maintenance activities for heavy mining equipment
n
- Developing accurate weekly maintenance schedules that align with operational priorities and available resources
n
- Managing day-to-day and long-term maintenance planning to meet production and maintenance objectives
n
- Ensuring compliance with MacKellar's CMMS/ERP work management processes
n
- Monitoring planned maintenance performance and ensuring work is completed within agreed timeframes and budgets
n
- Working closely with supervisors, tradespeople and operations to maximise equipment availability and reliability
n

About You

n

To be successful in this role, you'll bring:

n

n
- A Mechanical Trade qualification or a degree in Mechanical Engineering with relevant post-trade mining experience
n
- Previous experience in a Maintenance Planner or similar maintenance planning role within mining or heavy industry
n
- Strong understanding of maintenance planning principles and heavy mobile equipment
n
- Experience using CMMS/ERP maintenance management systems
n
- Well-developed Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook
n
- A current Queensland Coal Board Medical (or willingness to obtain)
n
- Standard 11 (or willingness to obtain)
n
- Current Queensland Driver Licence
n
