Claims Consultant — Complex Property

Looking for a role where you can move beyond high-volume claims and get your teeth into genuinely complex, high-value property losses?

We're partnering with a growing specialist insurer that is investing heavily in its people, technology and future. This is an prospect to join a team-oriented, close-knit team and take ownership of a portfolio that includes some of the business's largest and most technically demanding property claims.

The Opportunity

n

As a Claims Consultant, you'll manage a caseload weighted toward complex property claims, from total loss house fire matters through to large quantum losses. You'll be the go-to for the more technically demanding claims in the portfolio, working end-to-end from lodgement through to settlement.

You'll be responsible for:

n

- Managing large and complex property claims end-to-end, including recoveries
n
- Assessing information and making sound, commercially balanced decisions on claims of significant value
n
- Building strong relationships with brokers
n
- Working collaboratively with underwriting and other internal stakeholders
n
- Applying judgement and problem-solving skills to each claim rather than simply following process
n

This is a role for someone who genuinely enjoys the complexity and critical thinking that comes with larger, higher-value property claims, not a standard,



high-volume portfolio.

About You

n

Extensive property claims experience is essential, ideally including exposure to large quantum losses, up to 5 million.

n

You'll be someone who:

- Has robust, demonstrated experience managing complex or large-value property claims

- Demonstrates strong attention to detail

- Enjoys investigating and solving problems

- Has excellent communication and relationship-building skills
