About the Role

As a Room Leader, you will play an key role in leading your room and creating a safe, inclusive and engaging environment where every child can learn, grow and thrive.

You will be responsible for:

n

n
- Leading and supporting a team of educators within the Banksia Room
n
- Building strong, respectful relationships with children, families and your team
n
- Planning and implementing engaging, play-based learning experiences
n
- Supporting children's development, wellbeing and individual learning needs
n
- Maintaining a high standard of health, safety and compliance
n
- Mentoring and supporting educators to grow their skills and confidence
n
- Working collaboratively with the Centre Leadership Team to ensure consistent, high-quality practices
n
- Creating an environment that reflects the interests, strengths and needs of the children in your care
n

About the Role

About You We are looking for someone who is:

n

n
- Diploma-qualified in Early Childhood Education and Care
n
- Experienced in a Room Leader or senior educator position
n
- Passionate about working with children aged 2-3 years
n
- Confident leading and mentoring a team
n
- Warm, nurturing and committed to building meaningful relationships
n
- Organised, reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team
n
- Passionate about delivering high-quality early childhood education
n
- Committed to continuous improvement and creating positive outcomes for children
n
