About the Role

n

We are actively expanding our team to cover the Brisbane region, seeking individuals who embody a "can-do" attitude, honesty, trustworthiness, and excellent people skills.

n

This is a technician/skilled handyman position, with a focus on repairing sliding doors, windows and screens. Your responsibilities include:

n

- Technical Repairs:n n
- Expertly servicing and repairing various sliding doors and windows, such as glass sliding doors, screen doors, sliding windows, and double-hung windows.
n

n
- Customer Interaction:n

n
- Visiting customers at their locations to perform on-site servicing and repairs, establishing a friendly rapport.
n
- Handling payment transactions efficiently during service visits.
n

n
- Assessment and Quoting:n

n
- Conducting in office assessments to evaluate the extent of necessary repairs.
n
- Providing customers with accurate repair quotes and estimates.
n

n
- Data Management:n

n
- Efficiently using our technician portal to manage and update essential information.
n

n




- Coordination with Head Office:n

n
- Scheduling -Collaborating with head office to update and coordinate job schedules.
n
- Stock ordering- Communicating with the head office to place orders for inventory and supplies as needed for the business.
n
- Quote pricing- Working with the head office team to determine and finalise pricing for quotes provided to customers.
n
- Customer payment/enquiries - Handling customer inquiries related to payments and assisting with resolution, as well as relaying relevant information to head office.
n

- Vehicle Maintenance:n

n
- Ensuring the company vehicle is well-maintained, both externally and internally, with all necessary tools and equipment stocked.
n

n
- Teamwork and Adaptability:n

n
- Collaborating with fellow technicians when required to efficiently complete tasks.
n
- Adapting to additional responsibilities as the job demands.
n

Requirements

To do this job well, you need to have:

n

n
- A valid manual Australian driver's licence.
n
- Experience in sliding door, window & screen repairs is an advantage.
n
- Suit glazier or carpenter - would be an advantage.
n
- A team player with well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
n
- A commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
