The Role
n
This is a hands-on, all-round accounts role where you will take ownership of the day to day financial operations of the business through MYOB. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of all accounting functions, payroll, compliance support, and financial administration.
n You'll be working in a small, fast paced office environment, while still having a laugh.
n
Our client will consider either full time, or part-time hours (approximately 30/32 hours per week) with flexibility around working hours, including school-hour friendly arrangements for the right person.

Responsibilities
n
Include but are not limited to:
n
n
- Full function accounts payable and receivable
n
- Invoicing, reconciliations, and financial administration
n
- Payroll processing and employee records management
n
- Preparation and support for BAS reporting
n
- Budget tracking and financial reporting support
n
- Managing employee contracts and onboarding documentation
n
- Liaising with external partners including accountants and others where required
n
- Supporting systems and processes using MYOB
n
n

About You
n
You will be a highly capable accounts skilled who enjoys working in a varied role.
n
n
- Strong end-to-end accounts experience (AP, AR, payroll, reconciliations)
n
- Experience with MYOB - ideal
n
- Exposure to BAS preparation or working closely with accountants
n
- Experience in a small business or trade/construction environment preferred
n
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
n
- A proactive, can do attitude and ability to work independently
n
- Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with internal and external stakeholders
n
