Inspirations Paint is Australia's leading Paint Specialists Franchise Group, servicing both the retail and trade markets. A permanent full time position is currently available for a Paint Store Manager for the Airport West store.

Previous experience within the paint industry is essential as the paint industry is a specialised industry and we pride ourselves on providing accurate and professional advice to our customers, both trade and retail.

The current hands-on position is available for immediate start for an enthusiastic and motivated individual with a proven track record managing staff, generating sales and building customer relationships. You must be genuinely interested in people and their projects, with a strong work ethic and exceptional communication skills.

In return, you will receive Award wages, ongoing training and uniform. The store is open between 6:30am and 5:00pm Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm on Saturdays and 10:00am to 3:00pm Sundays.

Responsibilities include:

n

Day to day management, coaching and motivating staff to meet KPIs

n





Driving sales results by building strong customer relationships

n

Experience in trade and/or retail paint sales with a paint specialist or in a hardware setting is essential

n

Providing exceptional customer service and accurate advice to both retail and trade customers

n

Tinting and mixing paint, colour advice and matching

n

Managing inventory and stock levels within the store

n

Store presentation and housekeeping

n

Workplace Health and Safety leadership

n

Experience / Attributes:

Demonstrated ability to manage and lead high performing staff in a busy fast-paced environment

n

Honest, reliable and punctual

n

Able to problem solve and use lateral thinking

n

Able to contribute and lead while working in a team environment

n

Flexibility and willingness to assist in all areas of business

n

This role requires heavy lifting up to 25kg
