About the role

n SA Power Networks is excited to offer new opportunities for qualified Electricians to transition into a rewarding career as Powerline Workers.
n This unique program is based on a 4-year training contract, but thanks to our extensive on-the-job training and Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) processes, you can complete the pathway and obtain your Certificate III in ESI - Distribution Overhead in almost to 2 years.
n These 3 positions are based across our Metro North Depots (Elizabeth, Holden Hill & Wingfield).
n All training will be delivered through our in-house training centre based in Angle Park.

- Base wage of $102,971p.a. (plus allowances and overtime)

- Work 8 hour days on a 9-day fortnight.

About you

n

To be successful in this role, you'll bring:

n

Essential:

n

n
- Certificate III in Electrotechnology
n
- Electrical Workers Licence
n
- Australian citizenship or permanent residency
n
- Current Class-C Australian driver's licence
n

n

Desirable:

n

n
- EWP, White Card, First Aid, Rigging & Dogging
n
- Experience working on 33kV aerials and switchgear
n
- Involvement in power, control and protection system upgrades
n
- Exposure to industrial, commercial or heavy electrical environments
n
