The Liverpool Bakery is our largest site in APAC, comprising four manufacturing areas, including a fresh bun bakery, frozen bakery products, cakes and desserts.

We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join the Engineering team at our Liverpool Bakery.

The Role:

n

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Electrician plays a key role in keeping our production operations running smoothly through effective equipment troubleshooting and timely breakdown response.

n

Working Hours:

n

n
- Friday to Monday from 5AM – 3PM
n

n

The role offers the opportunity for overtime when required.

n

Main Responsibilities include:

n

n
- Manage end-to-end equipment performance on the production line
n
- Complete preventive maintenance on allocated equipment
n
- Carry out end-of-week shutdown tasks and activities
n




- Perform testing and calibration on manufacturing and process equipment (Temp, Flow & Pressure)
n
- Identify defects and carry out corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance
n
- Scope and deliver PLC programming and automation improvements
n
- Support development projects, including installation and commissioning
n
- Apply strong critical-thinking skills to resolve electrical and technical issues
n
- Follow all site Policies & Procedures (GMP, HACCP, WHS, Environmental, LOTO, Confined Space, Boiler Operation, etc.)
n

About You:

n

We are looking for a qualified, hands-on Maintenance Electrician who is organised, detail-focused and results-driven. To be successful, you'll bring:

n

To thrive in this role, you will have:

n

n
- Electrical Trade Certificate & A-Grade Electrical License
n
- Strong electrical and mechanical experience ideally in complex manufacturing workplace
n
- Proficiency in using CMMS (ideally MEX)
n
- Basic refrigeration knowledge
n
- Competence with Allen-Bradley PLC systems will be highly regarded
n
- Ability to interpret electrical schematic drawings
n
- General understanding of pneumatics and hydraulics
n
- Knowledge of 3ph & 1ph Motor control systems and fault-finding Techniques.
n
- Understanding of RCA, Lean Manufacturing & 5S
n
- FMCG/food, pharmaceutical or related manufacturing experience (highly regarded)
n
- The ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
n
- PC Literacy (MS Office – Excel, Word, Outlook)
