Job Description

Working approximately 30 hours per week, this is a hands-on HR Coordinator role suited to someone who enjoys being involved across the full employee lifecycle and can confidently manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with senior management and an external HR provider, taking ownership of the day-to-day HR, recruitment and workforce compliance functions across the business.

Key responsibilities

- Coordinating end-to-end recruitment, including advertising, candidate screening, interviews, reference checks and offers
n
- Managing employee onboarding and offboarding processes
n
- Preparing employment contracts, letters and other HR documentation
n
- Maintaining accurate and confidential employee records
n
- Monitoring mandatory employee compliance requirements, qualifications, licences, screening and training
n
- Maintaining compliance registers and following up outstanding requirements
n
- Supporting probation reviews and performance review processes
n
- Assisting managers with day-to-day HR queries and employee matters
n




- Monitoring leave, attendance and workforce documentation
n
- Producing regular recruitment, compliance and HR reporting for management
n

About you

n

n
- Previous experience in an HR, People & Culture or HR Coordinator role
n
- Strong recruitment and onboarding experience
n
- Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation and Contemporary Awards
n
- Experience managing employee compliance and HR records
n
- Excellent written communication and documentation skills
n
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
n
- Confidence communicating with employees and managers at all levels
n
- A professional approach to confidential and sensitive information
n
- The ability to work independently while knowing when to escalation matters for specialist HR advice
n
- Experience within the community services, disability, youth, residential care or NDIS sectors would be highly regarded
