Our client is seeking 3 senior Power Platform Software Engineers to oversee software development projects, write optimised code, and provide technical leadership to a team of software engineers. They are responsible for the quality and functionality of the software produced by their team.

Key duties and responsibilities

n

The IT Project teams are small resource groups working closely with business teams, so ability to perform cohesively in this space is key.

n

This role is Canberra based. Client will consider options for candidates to work outside of ACT however Canberra staff are preferred.

About the project

n

The successful developers will join an inflight portal project program, which supports organisational strategy by delivering a digital-first approach to maritime regulation, improving customer experience, streamlining business processes, enhancing data capability and enabling more efficient regulatory service delivery.



The portal has been developed in-house and will continue to be expanded to support additional services.

Essential criteria

n

n
- Demonstrated experience developing solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365, Dataverse and the Power Platform, including Power Pages.
n
- Strong front-end development skills using JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML and CSS, with experience in up-to-date frameworks such as Vue.js.
n
- Strong full-stack development skills, including experience with C#, .NET, REST APIs, JSON and SQL, and integrating front-end applications with backend services.
n
- Experience with Azure and Power Platform integration technologies, such as API Management, Azure Functions, Logic Apps and Power Automate.
n
- Experience working with established application architectures, development patterns and reusable components, including Azure DevOps, source control and CI/CD practices.
n
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with demonstrated experience working collaboratively within multidisciplinary delivery teams.

Desirable criteria

n

- Experience with AI and intelligent automation technologies, such as Azure AI, Microsoft Copilot, AI Builder, generative AI or agent-based solutions.
n
- Relevant Microsoft certifications across Power Platform, Dynamics 365, Azure or AI will be highly regarded.
