National Supply Chain Manager - Sunshine Sugar Harwood

The role:

n

This strategic leadership role is responsible for shaping and optimising our national supply chain network to improve service, resilience and cost performance across the business. Reporting to the Harwood Head of Operations, this role is responsible for leading Sunshine Sugar's supply chain strategy across transport, warehousing, 3PL providers, stock positioning and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) governance.

The Supply Chain Manager will optimise national supply chain networks, manage key logistics contracts, drive cost and service improvements, and develop strategies that support business growth, operational efficiency and customer service outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

n

Shape and optimise national transport, warehousing and 3PL networks across road, rail and sea freight

n

Develop strategic supply chain plans to support business growth, customer demand and operational requirements

n

Negotiate and manage key transport, warehousing and logistics service provider contracts

n

Prepare and manage annual supply chain budgets, forecasts and performance reporting

n

Define stockholding and network capacity requirements for demand peaks, shutdowns and disruptions

n

Monitor provider performance, capacity and resilience across the network

n

Develop business cases for network, infrastructure and supply chain improvement initiatives

n

Lead and maintain Chain of Responsibility (CoR) governance and compliance requirements

n

Identify and deliver measurable cost, service and efficiency improvements across freight, warehousing and distribution activities

n





Prepare monthly supply chain performance reports covering budgets, forecast, service, risk and improvement outcomes

n

Work closely with Operations, Customer Fulfilment, Manildra Sales, Finance and service providers to align sugar supply and demand

n

We are looking for:

n

Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance or a related discipline

n

Proven experience in strategic supply chain, transport, logistics and 3PL management

n

Demonstrated success negotiating contracts and driving commercial outcomes

n

Solid analytical skills, including financial modelling, cost to serve analysis and business case development

n

Experience delivering measurable supply chain improvements and cost savings

n

Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and influencing skills

n

Strong commercial acumen, problem solving capability and strategic thinking

n

Well developed computer skills, including advanced Excel capability

n
