Our client, a major organisation operating within critical infrastructure, is seeking a Portfolio Analyst with strong financial and reporting expertise to support a portfolio of multiple concurrentprojects within a complex and evolving regulatory landscape.

About the role

This role sits at the intersection of financial analysis, reporting, and stakeholder engagement, supporting portfolio-level visibility across a large and varied project base within a critical infrastructure environment. You will work across multiple concurrent projects at once, drawing on multiple data sources to consolidate reporting and provide clear, accurate insights that support decision-making, including reporting related to periodic regulatory price or compliance review cycles.

Key responsibilities

n

- Analyse and report on portfolio performance across multiple concurrent projects
n
- Apply strong financial analysis skills to track spend, budgets, and performance across the portfolio
n
- Consolidate and reconcile data from multiple sources into consistent, high-quality reporting outputs
n
- Support tracking and reporting of spend related to periodic regulatory price or compliance review cycles
n
- Build and maintain Power BI dashboards to support portfolio reporting
n
- Manage detailed Excel-based analysis and reporting
n
- Engage confidently with a range of internal stakeholders to gather, validate, and present information
n
- Adapt to a complex and evolving regulatory and operational landscape
n

About you

n

- Solid financial acumen with demonstrated reporting expertise
n




- Proven ability to manage and prioritise across multiple projects simultaneously
n
- Demonstrated experience as a Portfolio Analyst or in a similar analytical or reporting role
n
- Strong Power BI skills and advanced Excel capability
n
- Experience working with multiple, disparate data sources
n
- Prior experience within critical infrastructure or a heavily regulated sector, ideally with exposure to regulatory price review processes
n
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to communicate clearly across technical and non-technical audiences
n
- A genuine cultural fit with the client's team and ways of working
