Residential Service Electrician | Up to $60/hr + Super + Commission

AMP Recruitment is looking for experienced Domestic / Residential Service Electricians across Brisbane Northside and Southside / Ipswich.

n

This is more than a standard service role. You'll be dealing directly with homeowners, identifying electrical issues, recommending solutions and quoting additional works, with uncapped commission on top of your hourly rate.

What's on offer?

- Up to $60/hr + super + company vehicle + allowances
n
- $2,000- $6,000 sign-on bonus for strong candidates
n
- Uncapped commission
n
- Current average commission is around $2,000 - $3,200 per month
n
- Overtime and call-outs available
n
- Generally 7:00am-3:30pm working hours
n
- Genuine career progression into Sales Leadership, Service Management and Supervisory roles

The Role

n

n
- Diagnosing residential electrical issues
n
- Fault-finding and service work
n
- Speaking directly with homeowners
n
- Assessing electrical requirements and recommending solutions
n
- Preparing quotes and identifying additional work
n
- Selling electrical solutions and upgrades
n




- Completing smaller works where appropriate
n
- Building strong customer relationships
n
- Providing qualified, high-quality service
n

What You'll Be Working On

Depending on your experience, you'll work across:

- Switchboard upgrades
n
- General electrical upgrades
n
- Air conditioning
n
- Solar and batteries
n
- Residential service and maintenance
n
- Fault finding and repairs
n

What We're Looking For

n

n
- Strong domestic/residential electrical experience
n
- Solid service and maintenance background
n
- Current QLD Electrical Licence
n
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
n
- Comfortable speaking directly with homeowners
n
- Confidence recommending solutions and selling/quoting additional work
n

Highly regarded:

- Previous quoting or upselling experience
n
- Air conditioning experience
n
- Solar and battery experience
n
