Cruise Craft Boats is seeking an experienced Industrial Sewing Machinist to join our team in Murarrie. This is a part-time role working school hours, 3 - 5 days per week, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work on a variety of marine upholstery and soft furnishings projects.
n Including boat seating, cushions, canopies, and canvas work.

The Role
n
Working school hours, 3,4 or 5 days per week ( Flexible Hours for school pickup and drop off )
n 9:00am - 2:30pm
n
Sewing and trim work across our boat range, including seating, bolsters, canopies, and interior fit-out
n
Working closely with our production and manufacturing team to deliver our high-quality finish standards
n
Operate industrial sewing machines and overlockers to craft professional-grade curtains and drapes.
n
Accurately measure, cut, and assemble Vinyl and Canvas materials
n
Maintain the highest standards of accuracy, finish, and durability.
n
Work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
n
What we're looking for:
n
Proven experience with industrial sewing machines and overlockers.
n
A strong eye for detail and quality control.
n
Physical ability to handle and cut heavy fabrics.
n
Positive communication and teamwork skills.
n
Experience in Marine Sewing is great ! however candidates from related industries with transferable skills will be highly considered.
