BallyCara is looking for an Experienced Domestic Cleaner – Community Aged Care to join our Support at Home team and support clients across Kallangur, Albany Creek, Petrie, Strathpine, Lawnton, Bray Park and surrounding areas.

n

This is more than a cleaning role.

n

You'll help create a safe, comfortable and welcoming home environment while supporting our clients to maintain their independence, dignity and quality of life.

n

If you have experience working in community aged care and enjoy building genuine relationships with the people you support, we'd love to hear from you.

We have opportunities to suit different working arrangements:

Casual - With the potential to move into permanent employment for the right candidate.

n

Permanent Part Time - Tuesday to Friday, 9:00am – 1:00pm.

n

We're looking for people who can provide reliable support during weekdays, with some flexibility around working hours highly regarded.

n

What will you do?

n

As a Domestic Cleaner, you'll provide high-quality domestic assistance to clients in their own homes, helping them maintain a clean, safe and comfortable environment.

n

Your day may include:

n

n
- Completing domestic cleaning and household duties
n
- Supporting clients to maintain their independence at home
n




- Providing companionship and emotional support
n
- Encouraging social connection and participation in meaningful activities
n
- Building positive and respectful relationships with clients and their families
n
- Observing and reporting changes in a client's health or wellbeing
n
- Maintaining accurate records of services provided
n
- Following client care plans, privacy requirements and organisational procedures
n

n

About You

n

We're looking for someone who brings experience, reliability and genuine care to every client interaction.

n

You'll ideally have:

n

n
- Previous experience working in community aged care or HomeCare
n
- Experience providing domestic assistance within clients' homes
n
- A warm, respectful and compassionate approach
n
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
n
- The ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
n
- A genuine commitment to supporting older people to remain independent
n

n

You will also need:

n

n
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
n
- Reliable, registered and comprehensively insured vehicle
n
- Current First Aid & CPR
n
- National Police Check, or willingness to obtain one
n
- COVID-19 and Influenza vaccinations are highly recommended
n
