Female Complex-Care Disability Support Worker
n
We are seeking an experienced female disability support worker to assist a participant with complex physical and healthcare needs. Due to the participant's intimate personal-care requirements and preferences, this is a female-only role.
n
Key responsibilities
n
n
- Personal care, continence care, dressing and hygiene
n
- PEG feeding, water flushes and PEG medication
n
- Clinical observations and blood glucose monitoring
n
- Seizure management and emergency response
n
- Hoist transfers, repositioning and pressure-area care
n
- Light household cleaning and laundry
n
- Accurate care records, progress notes and escalation of concerns
n
- Working closely with the Clinical Manager and following all care plans
n
n
At least two years' hands-on disability or complex-care experience
n
Experience with PEG care, seizures, hypoglycaemia, continence care and manual handling
n
Relevant qualification or current nursing/allied health studies
n
Current First Aid, CPR, NDIS Worker Screening Check, Police Check and Australian Driver Licence
n
Full Australian working rights
n
Nursing and allied health students with relevant hands-on complex-care experience are encouraged to apply.

This is not an entry-level role. Please do not apply unless you have direct complex-care experience, as applicants without the essential experience will not progress to screening.
