Our Wetherhill Park Transitair division is a key HVAC+R equipment, overhaul, service and parts supplier to major Rail Transport authorities in NSW and we are seeking to employ a Trade Assistant to be trained in this field.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will beworking closely with our team of qualified technicians assisting with technical services to transport refrigeration/air conditioning equipment.

THE ROLE

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Trade Assistants - HVAC to join us at SSG.The position involves the installation and commissioning of new rail HVAC equipment at our ‘Modern’ workshop based in our Wetherhill Park, NSW site or onsite at our customers' facilities.





You must have a can-do attitude and willingness to learn our multi-skilled trade.

The skills and experience that will see you succeed in the role-

- Power and Hand tool experience
- Knowledge of the HVAC, electrical & refrigeration systems would be an advantage
- Work as a member of a team
- Good workmanship with thorough attention to detail.
- Possess initiative and have a strong work ethic
- Take pride in your work
- Neat presentation and be punctual
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
- Your own tools (hand and power tools)
