Are you an experienced HVAC Leading Hand, Site Manager or Site Supervisor ready to step into project management?

This is a newly created role with a growing commercial HVAC contractor in Brisbane. Due to continued growth, they are looking for someone with strong site experience and solid mechanical knowledge who is ready to progress into a Junior Project Manager position.

You will report directly to the Construction Manager and initially manage one sizeable commercial project, with project values typically ranging from $2m-$4m, and general project values across the business sitting around $2m-$8m.

The role:

n

n
- Assist in the delivery of commercial HVAC projects across Brisbane
n
- Work on high-rise and multi-residential recent build projects
n
- Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and trades
n
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, specs and project documentation
n
- Support project budgets, materials, scheduling, variations and delivery
n
- Liaise with builders, clients, internal teams and the Construction Manager
n
- Help ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget
n

Projects and systems:

- High-rise and multi-residential projects
n
- New build environments
n




- D&C; and construct-only projects
n
- Chillers, VRV systems and water-cooled systems
n
- Projects typically valued between $2m-$8m
n

About you:

n

n
- Trade background in HVAC/mechanical services
n
- Currently working as a Leading Hand, Site Manager, Site Supervisor or Junior PM
n
- Strong commercial HVAC installation and site coordination experience
n
- Able to read mechanical drawings and specifications independently
n
- Confident managing subcontractors, site crews and project stakeholders
n
- Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
n
- Ready to step into a project-focused role and build a long-term PM career
n
