About the Role

n

We're looking for a maintenance supervisor to keep our hotel humming, inside and out. You'll get hands-on, lead contractors and team members, and deliver top-tier maintenance across every department.

n

Working with our maintenance manager, you'll keep us compliant, safe and always a step ahead: driving preventative maintenance, managing contractors to a high standard and keeping our plant, equipment and essential services in perfect working order.

Skills & Experience

n

n
- Proven experience in building maintenance or engineering, ideally within hospitality or similar environments
n
- Strong hands-on technical skills with the ability to manage and delegate tasks to contractors
n
- Familiarity with maintenance management systems (e.g., myBuildings) and related processes
n
- Knowledge of OH&S;, WHS, and Australian Standards for building compliance and safety
n




- Experience managing contractors and ensuring high-quality, safe work practices
n
- Ability to develop and implement preventative maintenance plans and audits
n
- Sound understanding of fire safety systems and essential services compliance
n
- Strong budgeting and cost-control skills for Repairs & Maintenance expenditure
n

Key Responsibilities

n

- Deliver effective maintenance services across all hotel departments, ensuring timely completion of work requests via myBuildings.
n
- Manage and coordinate contractors, ensuring compliance with safety standards and quality expectations
n
- Implement and review preventative maintenance plans to maintain operational efficiency and reduce downtime
n
- Ensure compliance with OH&S;, WHS, and Australian Standards, maintaining a safe environment for guests and staff
n
- Monitor and maintain essential services, including fire safety systems, to ensure full operational readiness
n
- Assist with budgeting and cost control for Repairs & Maintenance, including procurement and expenditure tracking
n
- Maintain secure key and access card management in line with company policies
n
- Support planning and execution of capital works projects as required
