About the Role

We are seeking experienced Locum Orthopaedic Registrars to provide high-quality clinical care across a range of hospital settings. This role offers the opportunity to work in diverse environments, covering service gaps in both trauma and elective orthopaedics.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Assess, diagnose and manage orthopaedic patients in inpatient and emergency settings
n
- Participate in ward rounds, outpatient clinics, and on-call rosters
n
- Assist in theatre and perform procedures within scope of practice
n
- Coordinate patient care with multidisciplinary teams
n
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure continuity of care
n

About the Locum Arrangement

n

As a locum registrar,



you will be represented by an experienced agency and placed across multiple hospitals to fill critical workforce gaps. This provides exposure to a variety of clinical settings, teams, and case mixes, with flexibility to suit your availability and career goals.

Requirements

- AHPRA registration
n
- Minimum 2+ years orthopaedic experience at registrar level
n
- Solid clinical and communication skills
n
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments
n
