Position type: Full time (38 hours per week)

Our client Café Ronto Pty Ltd is looking to fulfil a position of a chef immediately at Umina Beach NSW 2257.

n

The successful candidate will be undertaking the following duties:

n

n
- Develop menus, estimate food and labour costs, and manage the procurement of food supplies
n
- Oversee and maintain the quality of dishes throughout all stages of preparation and presentation
n
- Liaise with managers, dietitians, and kitchen and service staff to address food preparation matters
n
- Demonstrate cooking techniques and provide guidance on culinary procedures
n
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with established standards
n
- Ensure compliance with and enforce food safety and hygiene regulations
n
- Assist in the recruitment, selection, and training of kitchen staff
n
- Undertake food preservation processes, including freezing and storage
n

Requirements

- Relevant Australian diploma or higher in the industry
n
- More than 3 years of work experience
n
- Punctual
n
- Team player
n
